A native of Thomasville Georgia; Kellen Abrams is a 2008 graduate of Mercer University where he majored in Criminal Justice. Upon graduation, he began work with the Bibb County Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution where he created and oversaw the Juvenile Division of the organization.
Upon moving to Atlanta he began working in the Fulton County Library System as a Library Associate. While doing so he also began work as an Information Systems Specialist for the Carter Center. Having been inspired by the work and the impact that the Carter Center has had on the lives of people all over the world; he was inspired to continue his work in improving the lives of others through public service.
He remained active in politics during this time; working for Representative Kim Schofield as a member of her campaign team and later as Campaign Manager and Chief of Communications for Mr. John Moye in his bid for Gwinnett County Commissioner, District Three.
Kellen joined The Oblander Group in May of 2021 as Director of Client Services where he plans to further involve himself in the public sphere and hopes to have an impact on the continued evolution of Atlanta’s future. In his spare time he enjoys painting, reading, skating, and listening to live music.
