Emory will join over 50 different medical schools around the country hosting a screening of Escape Fire, a film that not only highlights the inefficiencies and misaligned incentives of our current healthcare system, but also opens a dialogue for ways to fix it. Escape Fire has already won numerous accolades, including Official Selection at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. *AND* we just learned Pamela Ross, one of the featured physicians in the documentary, will be joining us for the event!
After the screening, Doctors for America & HealthSTAT will provide a brief policy update on Medicaid Expansion in Georgia, why it’s relevant to you, and how you can advocate for a more equitable system in a state that desperately needs it.
We hope you’ll join us and share this invitation with others who might be interested!
